Social dinner
We are excited to invite you to a free visit and social dinner with a stunning view of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) at the Olympic Museum!
- Visit to the exhibition: 18:15 – 20:00
- Dinner: 20:00 – 24:00
Participation is included for all full registrations (regular or student).
Participants registered for a single day or half-day can purchase entry by selecting the âaccompanying personâ option in the conference management system here.

Technical tours
The following technical tours are offered free of charge. You can register by accessing your account and updating your registration in the conference management tool here.
Please note that the tours are limited to a set number of participants. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will remain open until all places have been filled.
- Monday 18:30 – 19:30. The Structural Engineering platform (GIS) at EPFL. Don’t miss the chance for a technical tour to the testing platform for large-scale structural engineering tests of EPFL, just 5′ from the conference center.Â
- Tuesday 18:30 – 19:30. Le ChĂąteau Saint-Maire. A technical tour to the recently restored Saint-Maire castle where that serves as the seat of the cantonal government, the Council of State of Vaud.

Social tours by the Lausanne Tourism Office
Together with the Lausanne Tourism Office, we have arranged a range of social tours for you:
- Lausanne Cathedral organized in collaboration with the association Ville en tĂȘte (Sunday September 14)
- Walk in Lavaux vineyards (Sunday September 14)
- Fort de Chillon (Thursday September 18)

Lausanne Tourism card

If you are staying in a hotel, a youth hostel, a bed & breakfast or at a campsite where the tourist tax is applied, you are entitled to the Lausanne Transport Card. With this card, you can freely use all public transport (bus, train, metro) in Lausanne and its surroundings during your whole stay (maximum 15 days).
