OpenSees Workshop

About

The Open System for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (OpenSees) is an object-oriented high-end computing framework for simulating the static and seismic response of structural and geotechnical systems. Thanks to recent developments in masonry modelling, this tool has allowed researchers to analyze the dynamic behaviour of masonry constructions in the context of non-linear time history analyses accounting for multiple sources of epistemic and aleatory uncertainties. The main objective of this workshop is to demonstrate the advantages of using OpenSees for the seismic analysis of historical masonry structures through the showcase of practical applications.

Costs

  • The cost for the participation to the workshop is 150CHF for students and 300CHF for regular attendees.
  • You can register for the workshop by modifying your registration on the conference management tool
